How high is the entrance to the box?

When you receive your litter box, the entrance will be 8.75 inches high. We recommend leaving it at this height, as long as your cat is nimble enough to jump in and out of the box. (The amount of litter that your cat can track out of the box will be significantly reduced with a higher entrance.)

However, if your cat struggles to jump this height, you can remove the perforated tear-away, lowering the entrance to 5.25 inches.
